Wood River Health Services will honor a dedicated volunteer, a community healthcare powerhouse and the local Rotary Club at its annual breakfast at Richmond Country Club on Monday, Oct. 30.
The health center will present its Community Partner Award to Louis Giancola, Pres. & CEO of South County Health, for his leadership in the Washington County Health Equity Zone coalition called Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds and its subgroup that focuses on behavioral healthcare in the county, among other efforts.
Rotary Club of Chariho will receive the Community Service Award for its good works throughout the area, and particularly for its continuing support of Wood River Health. Recently “retired” volunteer Angela Camp will also be honored with the health center’s Appreciation Award for excellence in volunteerism.
The featured speaker for the morning will be Patrick Greene, Pres. & CEO of L&M Healthcare, which includes Westerly Hospital.
