Lisa Menard-Manlove, MD Family Medicine
Dr. Manlove received her medical degree from the Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, RI, in 2000. She completed her internship and residency at the Hunterdon Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in Flemington, NJ. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and was recently named a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She joined our staff in 2003.
Ellen Brosofsky, RNP Nurse Practitioner
Ellen Brosofsky graduated from Northeastern University as an RN and was a nurse for 12 years before returned to school for a Master’s Degree as a family Nurse Practitioner 15 years ago. She worked at Rhode Island Hospital and was the first Nurse Practitioner in cardiac surgery, and has worked at Blackstone Cardiology and Providence Community Health Center. She relocated to South County and joined the Wood River Health Services staff in 2013.
Shital Desai, FNP-C Family Nurse Practitioner
Shital Desai is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined Wood River Health Services in 2015. She received her Bachelors in Nursing from University of Missouri, St. Louis, in 2006 and worked for several years as a registered nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing at Maryville University in 2011 as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and a post graduate program as Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013. Shital has experience as a Nurse Practitioner in both private clinic and community health center settings.
Auren Pope, FNP-BC Family Nurse Practitioner
Auren Pope is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing in the state of RI since 2005. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 and returned to URI for her Master’s degree, graduating in 2010. In her career she has worked with patients from age 1 hour to 105 years old, but particularly enjoys her pediatric patients. She joined the Wood River Health Services staff in 2016.
Samuel Hoffman, DNP, FNP-BC Family Nurse Practioner
Sam Hoffman graduated from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 2011, and received his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. He is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He has worked as a Nurse Practitioner at the East Bay Community Action Program and as a nurse at Samaritan Bethany in Rochester, Minnesota. He joined the Wood River Health Services staff in 2017.
Tiffanie Waldeck, DMD Dental Director
Dr. Waldeck graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Seeking to further advance her dental education in 2010, she entered a General Practice Residency program at Rhode Island Hospital’s Samuels Sinclair Dental Center before joining the Wood River team in 2011.

Donna Murtha-DiMeo Registered Dental Hygienist
Donna Murtha graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Forsyth School and from Northeastern University with a degree in Health Education. She has worked previously in Community Health Centers in Boston and in private practices in both pediatric and general dentistry. She taught Health Education in grades K-12 on Cape Cod and in Weymouth, Mass. Donna joined the Wood River staff in 2009.

Sheila Cardente-Capece, MSW, LICSW Behavioral Health Manager
Sheila Cardente-Capece, is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work and Public Policy. Her experience includes working as Director of Victim Services at the Institute for the Study and Practice of Nonviolence where she worked with families of homicide victims, Director of Mental Health Services at Providence Head Start and Lead Renal Social Worker at the Dialysis Center of RI Hospital. Sheila is an adjunct professor at Rhode Island College School of Social Work, teaching “Social Work Practice with the Dying and Bereaved”. Other adjunct faculty positions include RI’s State Victims Assistance Academy at Roger Williams University and teaching “Working with Children and Families who Witness Violence” for Wheelock College.
Danielle Bryant, LICSW Behavioral Health
Danielle Bryant is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who joined the Wood River team in March of 2017. She gained her bachelor of Social Work degree from Salve Regina University in 1997 and her Masters of Social Work from Rhode Island College in 2001. She has 20 years of clinical experience and specializes in maternal mental health. She works from a strengths perspective and uses various interventions to help clients achieve their goals.
